On Tuesday, Dec 15th (19:30 New York Time) we will have Australian GDP q/q coming out. It is expected to read 0.4. Last time it read 0.6.

The trigger for this indicator is 0.4. This means that if Australian GDP q/q comes out at 0.8 or higher, AUD/USD will probably go up by 40 pips or more in the first 45 minutes of the report. If it comes out at 0.0 or negative, AUD/USD will probably go down by 40 pips or more in the first 45 minutes of the report.

Obviously, the bigger the difference between expected and actual numbers, the bigger will be the move.

I've been looking for the same thing. I currently use Forex Calendar @ Forex Factory which is nice as it gives a small refresh button as it gets closer to the news. There's a service out there that claims they can get the indicator to you quicker but I've never tried it and I haven't signed up for their trial. The Secret News Weapon Maybe someone could comment on this service.

I have a big interogation mark ... the report didin't get out at 0.2 and then corected at 0.6 ...?
so why do you get short on this one. If i am missing a part jsut tell me
