alpari could do better.

first i must start by saying that Sir Felix, indeed you have touched thousands of lives with knowing this, plz keep doing the good work. i know a lot of humans would use this God given opportunity to enrich themselves. Great job you are doing Felix and the same goes to your staff, also Chucks, Pharaoh e.t.c.

ALPARI, i have been trading with over a 1 year plus, i will give them 5 stars for deposits and withdrawal services..

But execution of trades is very very very bad, when entering trades the issue of rehi folks,
f quotes is now worse than ever and when you want to close your profits traded it tells you order in process. then order confirm but eventually when the market starts changing it tells you reqoute it is that bad and also. their spreads are not fixed they have invisible spread e.g eur/usd 1.8 changes to 6. it is worse when you want to trade news, for trades executions i give them 1 stars, customer services is great and also their platform is always freezing even when u are using a wifi- max internet connection services, at the moment i am looking for an ECN services broker provider, i would have love to join the MBTRADING, but Nigerians are no longer collected i don't know why. if any one knows of a good ECN broker. plz refer me.

Alpari UK security issues

This is a demonstration Alpari UK's security and attitudes in opening a real account.

I applied to open a real account after using the demo, which was good.

I signed up online and sent in my verification documents as the website says to.

They received a copy of my bank statement and drivers licence.

I didn't here from them for a month.

I sent an email asking why my account had not been approved. They had rejected my bank statement because it was supplied by the bank with a bank stamp and teller intitials.

Ok, so I took a photo of my posted bank statement (because I don't have a scanner) and they said that one was ok.

I waited another week and nothing happened.

I sent another email and asked what the problem.

They said I needed to sign a form (no they did not send it with the email).

I wrote back and asked them to provide the form I need to sign.

They provided an agreement form and said I had to sign it and send it back.

Since I don't have scanner, I signed a blank piece of paper, photographed it and cut and pasted the signature on the pdf.

I then printed the pdf to the pdf printer so you could not tell. Now there are two pdfs, one with a secure signature and one with an insecure signature.

Would you believe it, I sent the wrong one and when they moused over the signature it could be moved and removed.

Anyway, it was rejected because I had not signed it and it was done from a computer.

I then sent the right one and got an email back saying they would not open an account for me.

That was fine, I was pretty well over it anyway.

Then I asked they destroy the my personal documentation, including my drivers licence, signature that can be pasted on anything and my two bank statements.

They refused. They say they keep them for Alpari's records.

Now, I feel very insecure, why do they want them and what can they use them for?

I then sent this in another email.

"The documentation is privileged, personal and in the wrong hands presents a real danger.

It is provided to Alpari only for a purpose of opening an account. If that purpose is not fulfilled as part of an expected outcome, then Alpari is not entitled to keep it. Associated correspondence is Alpari's property and may be kept by Alpari for its records. "​

They still refuse so I sent this

"I have absolutely no idea why you would want to keep it, unless you intend to use it for some unauthorized purpose.

There would be enormous scope just within Alpari to use such documentation and I am sure would interest some parties that you are refusing to delete it.

Please confirm it is deleted by return email."​

They have still refused to delete the documentation.

People, this is very serious infraction of trust indeed.

I rate this company as a huge security risk regarding personal details.

Review: BE WAR Y OF THIS BROKER AND THEIR CRASHES.

I have only been trading with them for a short while live, today 16th of november and friday the 13th after a news releases their site has crashed, I would have made a tidy profit on both times instead I ended up breaking even on the 13th and today it cost me £350.The crash last for about 10 to fifteen minutes just enough time for your position to turn into a loss.
They have so far proved extremely scurilous in their acknowledgement that they even had a crash and have refused to compensate me even thuogh Idid phone them whilst their server was down. They have said that it could have been a connection at my end, funny the demo account I have up with them was fine, and so were acouple of other broker sites I have up for news etc all fine. DON'T SAY YOU HAVEN'T BEEN WARNED!!
even if you call them they will try and say you should have called the dealing desk..........if only they would say that at the time ! ! !

Is happen to me the same story . When there are the news the plattform crash. I loose 2000 eur , but he don't want to refund me .Is happen on december 04 with the news of Non farm Payroll in U.S.A. He respond to me that can happen , but the problem is not from their , but from me , my line , my pc , my platform .
I have also the account in more another broker , but i can't understand why never i have the same problem to one of the another my account on different broker. Only with Alpari and only with the real account and not with the demo .

Hey All, was hoping some of you more experienced traders could provide some feedback.

I have been playing around with demo acount for about 3.5 yrs off and on, and am finally ready to make a small investment in a live account. I am currently using a scalping EA that primarily trades during the Asian session (not Fap T). I have narrowed my choice down to Alpari UK and LiteForex.

Oviously low spreads are important, but also avoiding as much as possible the anti-scalping stuff that goes on (widening spreads during typical trading times)

Anyhow if any of you have any experience with either of these 2 brokers I would love to hear any feedback you could provide. Obviously I am also open to suggestions if any of you think that there are superior brokers out there that fit my needs, which are:

MT4, low spreads, low min deposit ($300 or less), permit scalping, fast execution etc.

In my limited experience, I'd have to say that you shouldn't be involved unless you have at least one thousand USD where you could literally light on fire and it wouldn't change your lifestyle...and that's for a micro account.
Try to believe me...I'm not trying to be elitist...
The problem is that if you have a spread that handicaps you by about six dollars, you really shouldn't be risking more than fifteen dollars total.
I went to Macau last year and the smallest blackjack table was about $15US per hand...how long would you last at that table with $300?

I've never used Alpari, but I would like to point out a few technical (comp) things.
First, how old is your comp?
Second, how often do you defragment?
Third, how verbose is your virus checker and net security package?
Fourth, do you use Outlook, Internet Explorer, or Office (or Acrobat if you don't have a verbose security package)?
Fifth, have you noticed a slow down in the last while when you go to other sites?
Many people mistakenly believe that computers are like cars where you should expect them to slow down after time...This is simply not true.
Computers slow down because of poor internet habits, installation and uninstallation of too many programs, deteriorating RAM, dust filled heatsinks, and fragmented hard discs.

Jeez...I suddenly feel like it appears that I know a lot of bad people...
Anyways, one thing you need to understand is apart from what you're focusing on now...that is that even the scammers have to prove that they've received your payment.
They have to because that's the only way that they can take your money without being charged with theft or fraud.
Those things happen, but you shouldn't worry about it too much.
The scammers make money because they assume, just as a casino does, that 80-90% of forex traders will lose ALL of their money.
Quickly, that's ALWAYS because of some combination of poor money management, bad intuition (this is minor), and ignorance or misapplication of technical analysis.

So, to really get at making you feel better, you need to know that (since) Forex provides tremendous opportunities for profit or loss, that means it also provides tremendous opportunities for money laundering (which is against the law).
Furthermore, most brokers don't report individual statements to international customers...yikes.
Anyways...that means that regulators are generally more concerned that you aren't laundering money (thus the pictures) rather than if you're making a profit or loss.

Lastly, they really should keep your documentation in the case that you (who I assume are not attempting to launder money) attempt to do something illegal (which I assume you aren't).
