my opinion is a micro/mini trading (whatever is appropriate to feel something but not jeopardize your account/life) will help you learn far quicker than demo trading forever. skin in the game changes your process, changes what you care...
trying to figure out "what I am missing" or "how am i wrong" ... too many people trade and then to prove why they are right. do the opposite and you'll save yourself massive drawdowns.
To each their own, but to me this sounds like 1) you have no conviction to a trade, rather you just want to trade 2) you are doubling your costs by doing this long/short strategy 3) if you want to hedge just hedge in opposite directions and forget about the correlation part. Why don't you just...
its a good point you have. everyone is different, but i view playing with real money a completely different game altogether than demo. and id wager you will learn much faster if you have skin in the game than if you dont. how much you wager is an entirely different matter - but feel you must. :)
never heard of these guys - id stick to more regulated jurisdictions personally only newish vibe one's ive heard of that seem different are darwinex.com and eqlx.io Darwinex seems built to educate you and eqlx seems like a new profit share / cashback model. Still learning on both.
