That is true but it isn't always going to work that well,right? Sometimes it's losses or little profit. There is no assurance of a fixed earning. I want that assurance. Do you understand?

I think what is meant by trading for a living is not having any other source of income besides it,right? Why then would you think almost every forex trader wants this? I think most use it as an investment to supplement other sources of income

Congratulations. I hope as much as demo gave you the feeling that it wasn't your cash,you learnt something from it. Just one tip as you start off: keep your leverage low. High leverage is dangerous.

I love your mindset as at now. But I think 6 months is the ideal time to stick to demo before you go live. However,if you feel ready then go for it. All the best.

Definitely. start of with just a pair as as you get the jist of things,add more pairs. I started off with one myself and I don't regret that decision because it helped me get into it better without confusion.

Even the good has some bad. Try to focus on the good. That said,this kind of issue is very common as many of my friends,Forex traders,who have been in it for quite some time now,have complained about it one time or the other. I am a newbie myself but I know this happens,so I know what to expect.

I have used Paypal only too. I would say they are very reliable. They have both a dispute process and transfer is traceable.

I have no idea why they can't be accessed with the current meta trader. I have had no problems running accounts with different brokers on mine,especially when only one is live and others demo.

I was going through another forum yesterday and I saw suggestions that in order to avoid slippage,one should keep changing brokers. Do not stick to one broker for too long.

MT4? Tried it? It's a platform though.

Great thread. I am learning from it too. I hate gaps very much and would like to minimize them as much as I can.
