December shutdown?

Hi,

I've read in a lot of places that we shouldn't trade the last 2 weeks of december and the 1st week of January, because Holidays are bad for trading.
Everyone says its Horrible.

However, I did trade on american thanksgiving and actually made one of my best trades ever on the USD/JPY.

I'm wondering if I should even take my robots off for december trading; or if keeping on demo is worth the experience.

my thoughts..... everybody needs some time-out, recharge those brain cells, do other stuff and put trading on the back burner till the new year, you will come back in January a hyper energised pip ripping machine...... and you might just save yourself a few lost pips to boot.

You should definitely turn off EAs during the "holiday" period as unpredictable moves and spread changes from low liquidity can kill most EAs.
