Another dumb couple of questions:

1. Is there a way to insert a hyperlink in a profile signature?
2. If I ever have something to sell (I don't currently) is it OK to put a link to it in my signature or is that spamming?

I never did set up a proper Pharaoh Signature (I should - something about Mattress Bank - ha ha)

Try this:

Hit reply with quote to my message. Below is an edited copy of your current signature with the two links set up to make them clickable. Copy it into Notepad for easy reference and then try pasting it into your signature and see what happens.

I got that you can't do it as links are blocked in signatures.

Which probably answers question number 2 above also...
