FCA Confirms ihoptions.com SCAM

Banned for uncivilized conduct
There's a binary options broker named ihoptions - Binary Options Trading - ihoptions that have been in contact with me by phone call, when I asked about its regulation, its Retention Manager Lance Jays told me that it has an FCA license and emailed me it "441617381185 is the license number", he added that they are working on being regulated!!! I had a big doubt about such long license number!!!
Checking the number on FCA website firm search tab, It gave me another firm name(only first few numbers matched too).
The named Lance Jays called me again pressuring me on opening a live account with the broker ihoptions.com, despite I told him from the previous call, will think about it and if I want will inform him via email.
When I asked him why the license number he sent to my email address shows another company name that looks to be Irish, he said yes its his same company and made excuses...!!!

After being in contact with the FCA to get a confirmation on ihoptions.com scam broker status and for FCA to continue its investigation in order to work on stopping ihoptions.com scam from running business in and outside the UK since it has a physical address :

This is FCA official reply:

Dear Mr (name)

Thank you for your email dated 22 August 2014 with information of a binary broker.

Searching on the Financial Services Register (FS Register) by the name of the firm and the licence number, I can confirm that the firm in question is not authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Binary options do not meet the Regulated Activities Order (RAO) definition for Contracts for Differences under Article 85 since they have a binary win / loss outcome rather than fluctuating in reference to an underlying asset value, price, index or other factor, as such, would not be regulated by the FCA (binary bets /options are regulated by the Gambling Commission under the Gambling Act 2005.

As the firm is not regulated by the FCA, any investments carried out with a non authorised firm will be done at own risk.

I will pass the details of the firm on to the relevant department withing the FCA for investigation however we are unable to confirm the progress of any investigation, as the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 imposes restrictions on us which require us to keep such matters confidential. Also, if we were to tell you about an ongoing investigation it might prejudice the investigation itself.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I hope that the information I have provided is of assistance to you.

Yours Sincerely

Hassan Buyukadam

I wonder if they are somehoe connected to IHForex
Pharaoh, Be Sure, the company regulated by the FCA has no relation whatsoever with ihoptions scam broker.
The scam ihoptions created any number that accidentally somehow matched the company FCA registration number.
Actually, the number it had given is very long and fake which grew my curiosity at first to check it at FCA, only half the number matched the other company's FCA registration number.

No company or individual likes to have its name mentioned in a scam case, this is why I'll not name the company, can only say that it provides insurance services and located physically in Ireland(respect to the country)

Eddiger, with IHforex, don't know!!! What is sure, both are SCAM.
