FJD is the ISO code for the Fijian Dollar. The symbol for the Fijian dollar is $ or FJ$ to prevent it from being confused with all other currencies called dollars. The dollar is divided into 100 cents, like most other dollar-based currencies.

Currently circulating coins include 5, 10, 20, and 50 cents as well as 1 and 2 dollars. Currently circulating banknotes are 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 dollars.
