Expected move during first minutes after the release is pips or more.


Review historical charts where the same deviation of at least 20.0 (k) occurred:

Canada Employment Change history of charts.

Once there, set filter to Difference Actual-Forecast >= 20.0 and click "Filter" to see list of charts.

	Traded currency pair	:	USDJPY
	Initial spike duration limit	:	30 seconds
	Initial spike price action threshold	:	25 pips
	Triggering retracement percentage	:	30 %
	Retracement duration limit	:	90 seconds
	Maximum trade hold time after release	:	15 minutes
	Stop loss	:	15 pips
	Take profit	:	15 pips
	Maximum spread	:	3 pips

1. If between 08:30:00am and 08:30:30am, so during the first 30 seconds you see USDJPY move up or down by 25 pips or more, then enter in the direction of the initial spike at the very first 30% retracement if it doesn't take more than 90 seconds (till 08:31:30am) – and if spread is at 3 pips or less. Set stop/loss at 15 pips, and set take/profit at 15 pips immediately.
   
   
2. If the move either up or down was less than 25 pips during the first 30 seconds, then the actual number of the report did not generate sufficient interest in the market, and you simply skip the trade.
   
   
3. If by 08:45:00am, so 15 minutes after the report release, neither your stop/loss nor your take/profit points were hit, then close the trade automatically at market price of the time.

I traded NFP with Diamonds Trading method because it started the to move before release time.
I want in next release of FNG to have possibility to add audible alerts at release time because
things happen so fast and we can concentrate to look at charts and take decisions.
A buy.wav and sell.wav file for each dirrection.

Hello Peter,

Just stoping by to thank you for your effort and knowledge sharing.
This Friday 10th was the first time I use you FNG on the NFP and I managed to gain 26 pips, with no effort or sweat at all.
It worked flawlessly... (Even though I use a slow connection, old laptop and kind of slow broker too, it took some good 10 seconds to execute my order)
Nevertheless, I endedup positive on the trade thanks to you and Felix!
I´ll keep following your post Peter.

i have just find out this application. amazing work.
as far as i have understand, when the trigger hapens 8 out 10 times the program is correct?
im a computer programer mostly PHP and C# if you need any help please drop me a pm, i would love to help you

abou 2-3 times out of 10 is triggered and about 8 to 10 times the trigger was accurate am i right?
if you can set some options like region selection it would be awesome
