I am filing this complaint against Goat Funded Trader (GFT) regarding Account #315058370, an Instant GOAT account purchased before August 12, 2026 (Purchase Orders: qty 1 on June 24, 2026, $79.00; qty 3 on July 15, 2026, $218.04 — total paid $297.04).
Timeline:
• Aug 17, 2026: Requested a $600 payout; completed initial Veriff KYC same day.
• Aug 20, 2026: After no response, followed up myself. Was told to verify via Rise instead; completed it same day and received written confirmation that KYC was complete.
• An interview was scheduled for Thursday, August 27, 2026. It was cancelled one day before, on Aug 26, with GFT stating "no interview needed for the account at this stage, no action needed," and that the team "will follow up by email if anything further is required." No payout timeline was given.
• Sept 2, 2026: Agent "Evan" emailed claiming the Veriff KYC was rejected, contradicting the Aug 20 written confirmation. A second, separate email the same day treated KYC as not done at all.
• Sept 3–4, 2026: A new agent ("Stefano," Risk & Compliance) requested a mandatory verification call — a new requirement never previously mentioned, and different from the interview cancelled on Aug 26.
• Sept 8, 2026: Completed the verification call. I was asked about EA/bots/VPS/VPN use. I stated I use a VPN to log in from Pakistan, and that I do not use or know how to operate a VPS. I was told a decision would come in 24–48 hours.
• Sept 11–16, 2026: Sent multiple formal escalation emails. Received a chain of contradictory replies from different agents (Trisha, Henry, Nina, Sonny, Marcus Ellis, Kevin Bailey) — some claiming KYC was fine, others claiming it had failed again, none providing a final answer.
• Sept 15, 2026: GFT terminated the account and rejected the $600 payout, citing "clear evidence of VPS usage" and alleging I was not transparent in the interview — despite my having disclosed VPN use unprompted and stated I do not use a VPS.
Why this rejection has no basis:
GFT's own published IP Address and Account Access Policy states VPS usage remains permitted on Instant GOAT accounts purchased before August 12, 2026. My account meets both conditions. Even if their system detected VPS-related activity, that cannot be a rule violation under their own policy — meaning there is no rational reason I would have needed to lie about it in the interview.
I have repeatedly asked GFT's Risk Team, via email and live chat, to provide the actual evidence (logs, dates, IP data) behind both the VPS claim and the "not transparent" claim. As of this posting, they have not produced any evidence, only template responses redirecting me between Support and Risk Team, each disclaiming authority to resolve the issue.
Compensation owed independent of this dispute:
GFT's own published payout policy states a $1,000 delay bonus applies if the 2-business-day payout window (starting from KYC completion, not the request date) is missed for reasons other than pending/incomplete KYC. My KYC was confirmed complete in writing on Aug 20, 2026. The account was not terminated until Sept 15 — 26 days later. During a live verification call, GFT's own interviewer verbally attributed the delay to internal backlog, not any issue on my end.
I am seeking: the $600 payout, the $1,000 delay compensation, and the $297.04 I paid for the account, or a substantive, evidence-based explanation from GFT addressing why none of this applies.
I'm posting the full documented timeline, including screenshots of GFT's own support chat confirming the VPS policy applies to my account, for the record.
