Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

i guess its like a bridge that connects currenex to MT4,so I think it has the same low spreads but commissions apply. thats how i understand it anyway.

Hotforex

Hey guys, a couple of weeks ago, I had posted a complaint against hotforex, which they have resolved. My initial problem was that i deposited some money, then by the time I went to trade live, they had chnged their policy for usa traders, of which I am a usa guy. So i had two live chats with hotforex late at night, (est), and both times they told me that they had given my money back to LIBERTY reserve
on 9/17/2012. LR was impossible to contact, doesnt answer emails, and i had a zero balance with them, and just by blind luck, i got a LR rep in live chat. He was very rude, and basically told me he could care less. Anyways, I had posted a complaint here at FPA, and within a couple of days, Hotforex contacted me. Actually it was a guy named venelin, and he decided to send me my money by paypal, and hotforex doesnt even use paypal anymore. So, venelin, actually sent me money out of his own account, just to cler this up for me quickly.
so, the bottom line, is for me, Hotforex did right by me, I think they are a great broker, and if I was not a usa citizen, I would still be trading with Hotforex!!!!!
I hope this is where I am supposed to declare my correction, so that everyone will read it, and I give HOTFOREX 5 stars, no hesitation.
Oh, one last thing, if you want to deal with LIBERTY RESERVE, it is up to you, for me personally, I would not deal with them again, if they were the last company on earth.
CHOW, and enjoy your trading,
drew

thats really nice to hear, I mean i alwas say that brokers can have issue coz there is no such thing as a perfect broker, but the important thing is what the broker does about it! let it be hotforex or not but its always nice to see resolved issue in FPA thats why i love this forum :) (Y)

The most important thing in a broker is... the withdrawal. You need total control over your money at all time.

the scariest thing any new trader joining a new broker i guess is the first withdrawal, I remember mine, waiting for 1-2 days like its weeks and months, its essential to have a broker that pays you of course. :)

Does anyone know the new service TA provided by Trading central? I'm not TA trader but it sounds good to know.

Your broker holds the money = your business in his hands. Track & Control it!

100% agreed!

Brokers need to undergo constant monitoring; starting with things like support, reachability and withdrawals.

As it becomes easier and easier every day to start brokerages (it costs a few thousands and comes with full service package, servers, legal setup, etc..)
the black sheep certainly not to become less market share.

But then, in the end brokers have many ways to make their cut. Sometimes they even do it right in front of you- without you being able to spot it.
(for example via spread, slippage, execution quality)

In general we have seen hf to be one of the serious players!

nicely said, thats the reason i cant help but continue monitoring, issues, threads, forums and reviews, it becomes a habit, its not that i doubt my broker, but its more like a traders homework to keep an eye on whats going on even if its with other brokers, and its a process of learning as well
