I have decided to keep Forex Growth Bot!

It is not perfect, but it consistantly picks trades that go into profit, which is how I like it!

I have decided to live with the T/P problem and hope it gets sorted, the sooner the better!

I know you can have it set with a S/L, but on demo this seems to be a fixed
price.

Maybe they should code it to have a trailing stop, so as not to retract back into losses, as it frequently does.

My strategy is not to let the bot trade, if I am not there to keep an eye on it.

When I go to bed or go out, I close down any winning trades and disable it until I am at my computer again.

I'm new to this forum but have followed your posts with interest. I notice you have stuck with FGB and also, elsewhere, I noted you have traded Forex Overdrive in the past. Essentially, without corrupting this FGB thread, with which one have you had most success and feel most comfortable using?

I have the long evaluation process to go through, whichever I choose, but the way you use, or rather make FGB work for you is how I feel I would use it. Keeping a reign on it and taking profit when I felt comfortable.

Do you mind if I ask what sort of time you have to use FGB? Is it time consuming to trade and watch, manually?

I'd be grateful for you comments on FGB and Forex Overdrive.

Thank you for uploading your live test Alejandro, but could you let us know what the starting balance is as I cannot see that on the myfxbook website. Currently you are up 28% but I would like to know what the starting balance is for that to mean anything.

Of course, wouldn't make so much difference, but the starting balance is USD 500.

There was a day in february it reached a USD 730 high, but ever since it started going backwards and is now at USD 600 give or take

FGB trade results

Hey guys, Ok, so I have had the bot set up for about 1 whole week and the trades it has taken almost mirror that of FPA test page. I understand that it gets frustrating with multiple losses in a row but it is a EA and it is not and will not be perfect, No trading system will ever be. I think we all know that though. With that said if you look back in the trade history this EA has recovered from 6-9 losses in a row multiple times. My suggestion is just roll with the punches and it will be a profitable ea. You really need to test theses things for at least 2-3 months before making an educated decision on overall performance. Brokers also have a lot to do with it. A Broker can make or break you. For instance, my MB trading account is doing the best and always has been which is why I have been with them for 5+ years. My FX open is doing ok and my Jade fx absolutley sucks. Broker is key ladies and gentlemen and that is a fact. I for one will be keeping this EA as I see it's potential.

p.s. As we speak right now the ea has 4 winning trades on my mb account and 3 winning on my fx open.

I have those trades also, bot at the top and I was sure they were going negative, but all 4 closed out with profits. what is the mb trading account .. who is the broker ...askobid and FXCM spreads seem to bee too large.

Right, so FGB in summary (and I hope Im wrong):

1. Can only be trusted to trade one pair EURUSD
2. Can not be trusted to be left alone and you must monitor all trades and exit manually to be profitable (thought the purpose of bots was that you can leave them be). Being chronically ill means my little and I are stuffed.
3. Re point 2: Recommended that Australians trade bot 6-10pm, thats 2 to 4hrs of sitting by the computer each day hoping trades will even occur in these hours)
4. We cant trust our brokers because they can (and will) negetively influence and rig our trading.
5. You need to run more than one bot in order to be profitable.
6. This is the only promising bot FPA are researching (other than that Gold trader) the rest have little positive comment and people are asking for refunds (Iris Fx classic example).

Flaming Hell!! Cant get help or advice from FPA and dont know any trader personally. what the hell do I do, keep losing money through pay by month Trade copiers. I dont mean to be negative, but all Ive ever wanted to know are what Forex robots (and settings) are successful people using and perform reliably
