What is the best time to trade? London session or New York session?

I'm sure someone will disagree with me, but I believe the London session is generally the most active and therefor would have more trading opportunities.

Would the 1st and 3rd Thursdays be better than the 2nd and 4th Thursdays?

FX is a 24 hour market and can be traded at anytime so fit your the markets around your life and not your life around the markets.
    Happy trading.

I usually leave my EA running 24 hours, but I have noticed more of a trendy market close to and after the US market closes. I've heard that the best trading hours are when the London and US market are open simultaneously. But i've achieved my largest pip gains outside of this timeframe. I guess it's a matter of opinion, and news and report releases.

The best time of trading for a trader is when he is mentally free and prepare to analyze market well . depending on time zone of a country he can choose good time for him. I like to trade in less volatile market so that I can manage my positions accordingly.

I was actually going to ask what is definition of a good time? Volatility, volume, peaks.... so many variables. But at the end of the day it must be comfortable time for you as nahiyar said. Then you just adjust the timeframe for your charts to make it "tradable".
