Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

General discussions of a financial company
Today FGB got caught up by news market shake and placed several trades trying to get on the break out. They all ended up losing big time.

You start finding out some points that require attention: for example, to shut it down before news come up and to set a trailing stop or to keep an eye on so it won't let turn a winning trade into a losing one

Could you inform us when exactly this happened? How many trades did it place? Were they long or short? Did they hit a SL? How much was the SL?

Started trading with FGB on 2/09. 7 trades so far, 3 winners and 4 losers for a total of +40.5 pips. Picks the direction OK but doesn't handle the TP well in come cases. My last three trades were in profit approximately 40 pips each (total 120 pips) but ended up with a 23 pip loss each (total -69 pips). I am trading with IBFX demo and the trades are close to the FPO statement. I will let it trade for the next 8 weeks and we shall see.

Are you using the latest version?

I also got hit with big losses last night. I am not sure how to tell what the latest version is. I bought mine on 2/9 if that helps.

This is a point I have already told Support about!

On the members site they should show the date of the latest update, alongside the relevant download link.

It would not take much to do this, but it would make things a lot easier for us to keep track of!

It looks like it places 2-4 trades when knows the trend. Is there any setting you can change so it does not place more than two trades?

I was checking the result with the investor password. It took the same loss. But I have a demo on forex.com. There were no trade on that day!!!

If the trend keeps going it will open lots of trades!

On a demo I had it open over 40 trades and it made loads of profit!

However if the trend is a shortish one, there are problems of letting profits turn into losses.

On my live account I am scared to leave it alone as it keeps getting losses if I do.

I have to keep closing out trades to keep the profits, which I don't want to have to keep on doing.

For this reason I will probably be requesting a refund and if at a later date it has all been sorted, I will re-purchase.

Can someone publish the input parameters that are being used on the live account shown here on the Forex Growth Bot Expert Advisor Real Test? Awesome profit factor and low drawdown.

I want to back test and see if I can replicate the same results before going live with my account. I tried back testing the default parameters and the results were not the same. Thanks!

Never mind, support sent me the input parameters for the live account:

"We are using non US broker so FIFO = false if you are using US broker you have to use FIFO= true.

Assign sl and tp =false

Lot size = .06

Everything default."

I back tested for profit factor and the results are no where near what the live results are showing on the Forex Peace Army Live account. Can someone else try back testing this and see what results they get compared to what the live statement shows? Even after optimizing several times the best profit factor I can get i2 2.46 and no where near the same number of trades or ending balance. What is Forex Peace Army doing that we are not on this live statement/account?

Thanks.
