the cftc is for brokers who are looking for american clients, basically the rules are a bit different, leverage are low somthing like 1:50 and no hedging, I dont think hotforex needs a license there.

Hmm if you are trading with only 1000$ I dont think leverage of 50 is enough.

yes exactly, if the leverage is limited to a very small figure, the tendency is that traders will end up investing more just to gain that small number of profit. unlike a higher leverage which can make the same profit with a lesser investment. thats how i look at it anyway.

Exactly my opinion too. For example I prefer trading 100$ with very high leverage (1:1000) but then I can win multiple times my initial investment.

LOL yes, you won't even be allowed to open a standard lot order with 1:1000 leverage and 100$ margin, because it won't be enough. Remember about Margin Call and Stop out levels Hotforex has.
