Hi everyone,
I just read that the EU Parliament voted for a new tax on all financial transactions throughout Europe.
The tax is to impose a 0.05 percent tax on all type of financial transactions at EU-level.
To me it means that on each forex margin based transaction the EU will take 5 pips. That makes it a 10 p per round turn. And adding the spreads or/and commission on the trade that will make it quite difficult to make get to good return to risk trades.
I wonder what will your opinion on the issue be. Suppose you are in Europe of course.
