Replay the market, test your decisions, upgrade your skills

cTrader Market Replay lets you go back to real historical market conditions and trade them again in a simulated environment on cTrader Windows.

Pick a date and time, set a virtual starting balance and start the replay. You can use minute open-price data or historical tick data depending on how closely you want to follow the market.

Once the session starts, you trade with the same cTrader functions you already know. Place and manage orders, use your technical analysis tools and see how your approach holds up as the market unfolds.

You control the pace too. Slow things down around an important move, speed through quieter periods or save timestamps when something is worth coming back to.

After the session, you can review:

• how your equity changed
• your wins and losses
• orders and trade history
• trade statistics
• the exact market conditions around saved moments

The Timeline connects your orders and saved markers, which makes it easier to go back to a specific decision and see what was happening in the market at the time.

You can also export and import timestamps, so the same scenario can be replayed again later.

Market Replay works well for practising before trading live, testing a manual strategy or simply going back over a market situation you want to understand better. It can also be used for workshops, trading education, market reviews and strategy demonstrations.
