They are two type of EA. One you can edit coding by yourself this surely apply optimizd value during backtesting. Another you cannot edit anything if programmer compiled his/her program and share to you. I mean if you have code you can optimized your parameter.

If you can program your own then great but be wary of people selling theirs.

There are so many ea out there and some or many robots for sale, but actually not all robot that sale on the market will become profitable, some time needs the good set file, and also need a huge capital to start, martingale robot is very popular but also high risk

I just don't see why anyone would actually sell one if they had a consistently profitable one?

There are many questions comes in the mind of every trader about robotic trading. If robots are too much efficient and affective than why the developers itself can't do trade with the help of these robots? Why they don't make some profit with the help these robots? Think about it.

Holly, some professional traders with a lot of years of experience are creating EAs and selling them and it is ok. However, there is huge number of simple algorithms who are making more damage to trader then real benefits, but making small fortune for seller

I would never advise a trader, especially a new trader, to just buy signals, expert advisors and robot services. So many are available in the market, but you can never be sure of performance. If you can program your own, the better for you and your trading career

If you are in a position to program your own EA, it is muchbetter if you do so and avoid those sold signals out there. Sold EAs do not come with freedom if the programer had no provision for editing the coding. Not all of them work, just like some of the bots on sale. Martingale is popular, but so risky, I'd not advise anyone to gor it.
