Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Discuss Trade.com (Lead Capital Markets)

General discussions of a financial company
I knew that feeling. I was afraid also before I have joined the trade.com. It's hard to percept the old things with a fresh eye. Still, it can lead you to a new experience. Hope to master this open-minded skill :)

What do y’all think about crosses like EUR/GBP and GBP/JPY? specifically about their spreads at trade.com. I ask this because I think I have figured out the movement patterns on these ones. Plus they brought me some dividends in the past. So I look for a broker with tighter spreads to relocate my funds.

This is right up my alley. I like to trade JPY and GBP related pairs and Trade.com has a quite pleasant spreads on them, including cross pairs. I don’t have experience with EUR/GBP pair, no I don’t think so. Is it worth trying?

Sure! If you like GBP assets, there is a chance you’ll like EUR/GBP. It’s also volatile af :) Aren’t all of the GBP traders adrenaline junkies? hahaha.
But frankly speaking I think about algo trading with these pairs so I look for an appropriate place to do so.

Haha, something like that. Volatility is presumably one of the key factors people love these pairs. So yeah, if you can’t handle the pressure, don’t trade them, that’s for sure.
Algo trading huh? Interesting stuff. Do you know if Trade.com allows algo trading in the first place?

Yeah, yeah mate. Trade.com is completely approved for algo trading. On both MT4 & MT5 platforms. I assume as long as the broker has MT apps in its repertoire, it’s highly probable you can deploy trading bots as well. But check the broker's specifications anyways, just not to get yourself in trouble.

Not really. It will be a bit complicated to explain exactly how it works. But in simple terms it’s some kind of an arbitrage advisor. At least one of them. At the moment I’m doing some testing and tweaking on a demo account. It shows decent results, not very stable though. I'm trying to figure out how to fix it.
Later I have some thoughts on automating some trend-based strategy.

That sounds interesting. I was always skeptical about trading bots to be honest. Because it feels oversimplified to me that mechanical algorithms can be applied to the market. With all its changing nature, all the fluctuations and turbulences. And I am still not very sure that it’s possible.

It is possible. But it requires a lot of testing on a demo account. And you have to be patient with it, so it potentially can take a lot of your time. Plus when the trading algorithm is not worth it, but you spent so much time on testing, it kinda can be frustrating.
