ACCOUNT TYPES

Trader’s Way offers a wide choice of account types to each taste, strategy, funds and need.

We encourage new traders to learn more about currency trading before risking huge sums. With this in mind, we prefer clients [new to forex] to start with Micro accounts (MT4.MICRO). This type of account is perfect for hands on experience in currency trading, testing a new strategy or restoring your confidence. The smallest lot size possible, the so-called Micro lot (1,000 units of base currency), and the minimum transaction volume of only 0.1 of a Micro lot make Micro accounts a perfect learning and teaching tool. In addition, starting out with micro trading will cut down the risk factor and enable the trader to learn more about the market.

For the more experienced, they can select between Standard accounts with fixed spreads (MT4.FIX) and floating spreads (MT4.VAR). The first is perfect for trading systems based on constant spread values. The second is closer to professional interbank market where spreads vary every second. No commission is charged in both cases. You just need to decide which one to opt for, a floating spread or a fixed value. Do note, if you plan to opt for a variable spread, the spread can change depending on the volatility of the market.

For the most experienced and confident traders Trader’s Way offers direct access to the interbank market – ECN trading through MT4 platform for a small commission (MT4.ECN). Spreads are quite low and at times, tend to range close to zero, under proper market conditions.
