Withdrawing funds "tainted" by bonus?

That`s why i don`t use bonus brokers but who`s listening when i`m telling you this. :D

i hope every one reads the small print these bonus brokers are not even worth touching, they only help with leverage but when you lose any trade you always lose your money first so there is no point with them!

Bonuses that brokers off are exactly like that of a casino. Precisely why I avoid them. Riddled with T&Cs and in some cases ridiculous wagering requirements that do nothing to encourage sensible trading practice.

Yeah, I must say I'm always surprised people just blindly jump in to these bonus broker deals - and then you read horror stories about them being margin called because they thought their bonus added to their equity (and it looks that way in MT4!).

So frustrating to see these clever cons stripping people of their money.

This is exactly a 100% sample why i don’t use any kind of bonuses or bonus brokers at all.

Agreed. I also think that these bonus schemes are just marketing tool in hands of bad brokers to attract more traders without experience. Always deal with legitimate brokers and avoid any tempting offers

this year alone i have seen 3 bonus brokers with holding funds due to the small print and other reasons when a trader has done well. not the best idea and better off sticking with a standard broker

my friend. my friend has a problem. tell me directly that it's you. why cover behind no existent friend always? read the terms bonus talk broker and he'll withdraw your money. what problem?

Bonuses are always a trap it seems, I generally steer clear and go for a known broker without the bonus

Hi! New to this forum, and new to forex trading. I hope I'm placing this thread in the right part of the forum.

I am trying to help a friend who has deposited money to a broker (of course without any form of due diligence...) and now wishes to withdraw that money.

However, that is declined, given reason is that all the money (deposited + bonus) now is locked from withdrawal until a certain number of lots have been traded.

Is this common practice? To me it sounds more like a online casino.

Ha anyone succeeded in withdrawing in a scenario like this?

Thanks,
Bonuses in general are scams, try and stay away.
