But also good other traders who've had bad experiences are letting us know what happened to them.
Still, i agree brysown1, we've all made mistakes - sometimes very bad ones - let's give Henry a chance - there's no cost to us. We just need to stay aware.

dec 2008 devastation
Henry Liu shorted the euro in dec 2008. He would use mental stops, and he kept moving the stop as the euro shot up, he added more positions...soon over the week the trade was at 4 times the usual size...euro was up 600 pips since the initial entry short. It was terrible, ok so maybe he lost 100k learn and maxed out his credit cards or whatever but kept going, but he should not have done this while charging $300 a month to subscribers that paid good money for expertise. Felix claimed he had some death in the family or was sick or something, well subscribers should have know and we would have taken a break, but no monthly subscription fee too important...you have to know the numbers $300 x 200 you get the figure = $60,000
All the groupie here swallow anything, you are nothing but your ability to convert into a paid subscriber.

Hey Hendry Lui, congratulation (or should it be, due to some negative receptions here already, my sympathy) for receiving the torch from Crazy Cat.
But, don’t let the negative reception deter you; yah! Yup, I have read your background (quite colorful), but hey, we all have made mistakes and we learn from them; right?
So, let’s see what you got that would shut-up your existing critics.
One little request: Would highly appreciate if you can tone down on technicality so that Newbies can follow what you on about.

I have to say a lot of these posts I'm reading are hysterical to me. I'll just repeat some of my earlier comments for the lemmings.
First, I have no axe to grind with Henry Liu as I said. However, I DID trade with him live for several months; have any of you? Did any of you even read the FxNewsWiz reviews? Probably not on both counts (exept for yurps who it seems was also in Henry's old trading room-but you're probably not listening to him either right? Because he's "negative"? lol)
Do you not think it MIGHT be valuable to hear from someone who has actually traded live with this individual? If you don't think so, it's no skin off my nose. I simply offer that honest feedback for what it may be worth.

I have been following Crazy Cat and Henry for about 3 months and found both their news services to be very good and often remarkably similar. I am a professional trader of 15 years experience and earn a good living trading futures and more recently the addition of some forex pairs.
Trading is a very psychological endevour and not many can make the grade in conquering the hurdles of the mind. We need to show some compassion for those who fail or simply can never manage to control their fear.
Seems to me that Henry has been at least partially honest and may well be more interested in marketing than trading himself. Lots of traders turn to education for a variety of reasons and the ones who manage to provide value should be congratulated.
This service provided by FPA is not telling you how to trade and it is free. You can take or leave the suggestions as you like. You need to become independant and try to resist the temtation of laying blame. Recognise that learning to trade is one of the most difficult things you could choose to do. Why not become a brain surgeon instead !
