FOREX PRO Weekly January 02-06, 2012

guys, you know what this forum reminded me of? the turtles! maybe we are being trained like the turtles were and in the end the ones that don't drown will be selected (for some nefarious take-over-the-world scheme, i am sure ;))

for those who have no clue what i'm talking about, here: Richard Dennis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (it's at the bottom of the page)

It would be great to meet at end of the year for a good new years do and yes thats a villa ! lok

Hi Sive, I see a double repo buy on the one hour TF with some of the brokers, with new lows made in the middle bar, and a stop grabber as well. Hourly does not seem so impressive with this amount of slide, yet we are at a major support area. Do you expect this might hold?

Hi Sive,

I haven't posted here in quite sometime but I must say once again, thank you thank you thank you :) I appreciate what you do for us here immensely, your an admirable fellow for our your contributions and teachings. I've been following the analysis for over a year now and it never fails to surprise me how right on the money you always are. I started learning DiNapoli methods about 6 months ago when I bought the book, mostly due to what I've seen you do right here. Between the two of you your the greatest thing to happen to my trading. I've been trying to trade forex for over 2 years now and at first I lost a bunch of money. Actually I made a bunch of money quick (getting lucky) and then I got in over my head. Its so easy to do in this game. I've found the hardest part of trading has been to overcome the mental and emotional aspects of it. They can beat you before the market does ;) LOL

Theres a lot of alright trading systems out there but I don't think they help with these mental aspects. Now that I have studied technical analysis for several months I am gaining alot more confidence and I know exactly why I am in a trade and when I should probably get out. Which to me is important, and also knowing when to cut your losses and move on. Thanks for helping build these skills and the confidence and mind set to formulate a trade plan and stick to it. I regularly analyse the markets myself now and then check with your daily videos to see how I'm doing. I think I'm coming around and the 100 or 200+ pip trades that I make now are a lot more comfortable and less stressful then the 20-30 pip sweating bullet trades I use to get into not even knowing why.

I hope you and your family had a very wonderful Christmas and New Years! Once again many many thanks! The best to you and yours in 2012 and beyond. Oh and many thanks for your work on the military school as well. You rock!

PS, my 2 cents on the "chatroom" these pages are turning into...not good. Not to bust anyones chops here but, I appreciate being able to review the technical data and look over the analysis without having to wade through the banter. I understand the need for communication and camaraderie between us traders. I just don't think these pages is the place. Maybe Sive or the FPA could setup a section within this area for messaging and exchanging ideas trades about the daily analysis etc.. Or just use one of the many areas within these forums that are made for it. Its a good part and probably an essential part of the learning curve but, personally in my humble opinion, this is not the place. Even though I just chatted a big message not about the analysis ;o) LOL

Peace to you all and good luck in your trading and your lives in 2012 and beyond!)

I agree 100% with cosmos and am glad he or she brought it up. I do not like what this forum has become. It is too hard to find Sive's posts and the educational questions and comments of other students. This is not the place for chatter. Private IM's and other forums can be used for this. I quit coming to the site for the last month because it was too difficult to wade through all of the posts that had nothing to do with the trading plan for the week or the exact signals we were concentrating on at the moment. I have just come back to try again but see that it is as cluttered as it was last month.

Euro hit 12770 tonight, reversing up. 12770 is close to Sive's low-end target of 12750. Sive, any sign you see that retracement up has started?
