Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

I opened first page of top performing signal providers in mql5 and they look amazing with fantastic ROI. My questions are , are those results real ? How about spread , swap fee , etc. Is it included in their trade history in mql5?

Looks very good , and there are some older accounts too that still work amazingly well.On a quick glance seem everyone can get rich just by copy their trades, but is it too good to be true? Is it that easy , just copy old performing traders?

A lot of them are real, but the results can look better than reality. Your copy results may differ because of spread, slippage, swaps, and broker execution. Some providers also use very risky strategies, so big ROI doesn’t always mean safe long term profits.

Yes, fantastic growth is entirely possible with copy trading—but it rarely happens the way people think. It is not a "set-and-forget" machine for passive wealth.
The Problem
The biggest mistake beginners make is chasing "star" traders on leaderboards who boast 500% short-term returns. These traders are almost always utilizing extreme leverage or risky "martingale" strategies (doubling down on losing trades). When the market shifts, their accounts—and yours—can get completely wiped out overnight. Furthermore, platform latency and slippage mean your actual execution price might be worse than the master trader's, eating into your net returns.
My Recommendation
Treat copy trading like portfolio engineering, not a lottery ticket.
* Diversify your leaders: Spread your capital across 3 to 5 conservative traders who have a verified track record of at least 12 months.
* Filter for drawdowns: Look past the total profit metric and only copy traders who maintain a maximum drawdown under 20% and keep position sizes to 1-3% of their capital.
* Cap your exposure: Set strict equity stop-loss limits on your platform so that if a copied trader goes rogue, your account automatically disconnects before sustaining catastrophic damage.

Most leaderboard returns are just martingale with leverage waiting to blow, and slippage kills a lot of copy edges.

I'd only add two filters: make sure your leaders aren't all trading the same market at the same time, correlation will wipe a "diversified" portfolio in one move, and look for a track record through different conditions, not just 12 smooth months.

For scalpers here especially, copy delay means your fill rarely matches theirs, so treat copy trading as risk management practice, not passive income.

I’m using FX Junction with a RoboForex account and I’d be careful with judging a strategy only by the growth number. I’ve seen traders with very attractive returns, but I always check the drawdown and how long the track record is before copying them. What I like about FX Junction is that I can keep the money at my broker, compare different traders and control the risk on my side. For me the real question is not whether copy trading can make money, but how much risk was taken to get those results.
