We do not need to engage in hara-kiri nor seppuku in order to transcend the fear of failure or the unknown. You see, going through your comments, I perceived, Parsifal, your emotions behind the keyboard but you are not alone.
Actually if you learn to know yourself better, you will know that you can overcome your fears, including the fear of getting stopped out right in the middle of a trade and in the frontlines before thousands of eagle eyed viewers. It was a philosopher that said, ‘’Man, Know Thyself’’.

Fellow Knights, when you learn to look at things objectively and refrain from being unduly influenced negatively by your own instinctive reactions to failures or losses; then you are ready and free to ascend.

Spending time in Silence of the Soul and meditating in the Holy Scriptures of the Word of God serves as a buffer or shock absorber for the human spirit. ‘’Thou shall keep him in perfect peace whose mind is fixed on thee, for blessed is the man that trusts in thee’’.
This peace, which surpasses all understanding, even in the midst of a tornadic storm is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit found in the soul of the spiritual trader. Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and self-control, or temperance. These inner fruits bolsters your temperament when involved in future trading actions.
Like an alpinist looking to surmount a prodigious mountain, you need to overcome vertigo. Self sabotaging beliefs that drain you and your ability to perform excellently in your chosen field of endeavour should be annihilated and obliterated. Learn from your mistakes of the past and move forward toward the next goal. Let the past remain in the past. Let the darkness and its attendant forces of negativity be behind you as you focus on the light ahead of you.
Then you shall know that in this World of Gross Matter, life is an illusion and a journey of learning experiences for the human spirit. Towards the Ethereal, Animistic, Spiritual and Primordial Spiritual furtherance and Perfection of Creation!
