how to predict where market is going to open next day

so if we want to speculate in the evening on where they FTSE or DAX is going to open next morning ...how can we do it? which clues to look for??

i know its not easy but do u have any ideas

Volume and price are good indicators.

You can also follow the overnight Cable rate which follows the same contour as the FTSE. OR and this may be more accurate, use a dartboard and a blindfold.

My MT4 does not have the UKX (FTSE100) listed and I have not found how to add it (if anyone knows please tell me) but you can see it together with cable and other pairs on the charts page of ADVFN.com This works best in real time (for which a subscription is needed) but the correlation between the major market indices and the major relevant fx pairs in time and direction is very obvious and can be seen on the static hourly chart.
