I've made two post since 8:00 GMT this morning. Non of them are showing. WHy's it taking so long?
The moderators are doing their best. Don't forget the time difference. 8:00 GMT = 03:00 AM EST
Please try to select the correct prefix when making a new thread in this folder.
Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.
Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"
Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"
Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"
Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.
More info coming soon.

Free2Day.
I've tried to reply twice before to you message but for some reason they have not come through.
I'm going to look at that site you suggested and I'll get back to you but I want to carry on the current tests for a while longer. I only have two PCs that i use for testing and trading FX. Also I don't really want to download yet another instance of MT4. If you already have an instance of MT4 connectiong to this broker can you let me know the server details so I can add them to an existing instance of MT4 instead. (I can tell you where to get this information from if you do not already know)
I'm also starting to think that we should test each currency one at a time, What I'm seeing on the ACM vs Alpari test is that the EurUsd and GbpUsd are winning on Alpari but lossing on ACM while the UsdJpy and AudUsd are winning on ACM but lossing on Alpari.
Also, because of the strange trades I'm getting, I'm not sure if it's just ramdom luck that is causing the win and lose on each account. Can't figure out the logic behind the trades on ACM vs Alpari. Could figure them out on FXCM vs Alpari. All very strange.
Anyway I'll look at this Penny broker and maybe start a test on Demo with them first but it will not be until Monday.
Just to keep you informed of the Current situation on my tests
Remember all these test are on DEMO accounts not LIVE
Lot Sixe set to 1.00 in all cases
FXCM vs Alpari-UK (Alpari set not to trade)
FXCM start Balance £2,000
FXCM current Balance £34,700 +
ACM vs Alpari
ACM start Balance $1,000,000
ACM current Balance $ 999,300 -
Alpari start Balance £5,000
Alpari current Balance £6,000 -
Note: The + after the figure means current trades running are posative, - means negative
At one point today the Alpari was up to £6,500 + but has lost big time on AudUsd and JpyUsd. Still just about in profit overall.
Apteebay,
Unfortunately I do not have the server details of my demo account at the "Penny Broker".
My refund from Clickbank came through on this product (thanks clickbank) so it's useless for me to open a "Live" account myself.
I'm all for you testing demo's but I think it's a waste of time because you will soon find out that the "Live" results will not reflect any discoveries from the demo trials.
If I can influence you to go ahead and sign up for a "Live Account" with the "Penny Broker" and use Alpari Demo as your second broker, this may bring about some interesting real world trading results inwhich we all are looking for but can't find any where.
Food for thought.
If you downloaded the Penny Pip MT4 you will find a file in \Prgram Files\(MetaTrader)\Config
With a .svc ending. If you load that file into notepad, although it's not plain text, you shouold be able to see in there the IP and port address of the server.
If when you load it into Notepad you can not see the IP and Port address try setting Word Wrap on under Format on the NotePad menu.
Just make sure you don't save the file before you exit it.
The IP and Port address should look something like 207.345.67.9:433
I've just been to the Forex4you site and tried to open a Cent account. Unfortunately they don;t accept customers from the UK (or US for that matter)
I'll have a hunt around for any other Penny/cent brokers but if you know of one do let me know.
I'll try the DEMo wih them anyhow and see how that goes
