I have never used a bit how has it been going for you ?

I think just like manual trading, which not all trader that works manually will make money from this action, only expert in this field will be rewarded, therefore trading robot, it will depend with system trading inside the logic machine if system trading bad, the robot will waste money, but if good, one advantage robot they more discipline to work based the logic.

hi i am using robot for trading
i must hold position down to 40 pip of loss on usdjpy for one trade
my account is 500 leverage
my balance is 600\$
wath would the maximum trade size?
thank you.
Assuming stop loss is 50% the loss of 300 USD should be produced by the price move of 40 pips. Hence pip value should be equal 300/40=7.5USD.

Recall that pip on USDJPY equals the move by 0.01 in the exchange rate (not 0.0001 as in EURUSD). Hence pip value for one lot of USDJPY (100 000 USD) will cost 0.01*100 000 = 1000 Yen.

At current exchange rate it is 9.17 USD.

Hence the max lot size for you is 7.5/9.17 = 0.81 lot of USDJPY

One advantage using robot trading is can make a transaction without human intervene, no emotion because robot trading work based on logic machine if new signal has confirmed will then automatically open a new trade, it can run 24 hours using VPS, but trading performance depending with system trading also money management inside the system

Your questions lacks basic information. What is the instrument price at the point of placing trade also effects the trade size. You can go to any margin required calculator and pip calculator to check for yourself.

How's the robot doing now?

How's the robot doing now?
Maybe still in waiting mode to get signal confirmation to execute new order, the robot can work properly if has speed connection to the trading server, if often delay connection can not work properly.

How's the robot doing now?
It's hard to make money with Bot trading from home PC due to latency. If you focus on developing systems to catch really short-term opportunities (like below 1 second duration), then you have to ensure you trade from the place with really low latency like 1-2ms (speed of signal travel to broker servers)

Is it safe to use a robot for trading? What is the rate of profit and loss if traders use a robot?
Finding the right one is the hard thing as the market doesn’t always move as you expect, I think you have to play it ultra safe when using one.
