Stick to the free things first. After you plow through those, you'll have a much better idea if you need to buy any more training or not.

Agree, you will find free forex education materials all over the internet. But you may wondering around this forum first before going outside.

I have found out a lot of Interesting Forex based materials in this site only and this is why i am more active in this then in anywhere else.

We must never forget this that trading needs to be learned and so it will take us some time before we will be able to become more experienced in our trades :D

Indeed... It may took a while for learning to be a good and profitable trader and it could be pushing you further from gaining some funds. But if you could make it, you'll see the good outcome once you've become a good trader.

There are two ways to look at it without being bias

First everything there is to know is already available for free across the internet.

There are people who like a class room type environment, because they like the interaction with other folks.

One could argue the same for libraries vs going to schools.

Just don't fall for the "make a living trading the forex markets."

The only way to make a living "trading/investing" in the forex markets on the buy-side is if you are managing money or have a $500k plus account to begin with. A 10% gain on 500k would generate you $50k, which is not an income a "$500k investor is looking for."

The traditional money management concepts for the retail base (ones that are depositing a few thousands dollars), do not work.

Earning 20% to 40% per year on a $1000 account is not going to cut it.

Retail trading should be taken as a medium for track-record building for traders who are looking to manage other people's money OR a platform for quick risky bets for people who are just doing it to earn a quick buck.

Anything and everything apart from this line of function is a grey area.

Good results at very start are often a hurdle in long term success. If a trader gets an odd profit due to luck at very start of his career, then he starts thinking forex trading as an easy work. But this don't last long and his initial experience become very bitter for the rest of his trading career.

We have to make sure that our trading is successful and this is only going to be possible if we are using a good trading plan and also we know which type of trading is better for us :)

That's why demo account is exist. It's a good place to train almost everything for our trading career, including to build and train our trading system and it takes some times to make it good for us...

We have to keep testing in the Demo trading accounts because this way we can build our trading career and get to know about various types of systems that are in place and those that can give us a nice trading income :)

It's a good place to build and train our trading system, to evaluate our trading progress so our future trading would be much better. But still less of experienced traders who are taking advantages of demo account...

I know some good trading courses like Investopedia, FPA's Forex Military School and babypips schools, sometimes I watch webinars from brokers since they are especially useful you want to learn how to trade news, though I try to avoid trading NFP..
