Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Account closed due to alleged "connection" to another client without evidence or prior notice

I am sharing my experience to see if anyone else has encountered a similar situation.

After withdrawal submission with this broker, I unexpectedly received an email informing me that my account was being closed because it was allegedly “connected to another account” that had previously been terminated for violating the broker’s Terms and Conditions.

What concerns me most is that I was never contacted before this decision was made. I was not asked to explain, provide documents, or clarify anything. The broker simply informed me that they had already completed their review and decided to:

  • Close my trading account.
  • Nullify trades associated with the alleged activity.
  • Get all profits from my account.
The email did not provide any evidence showing how my account was supposedly connected to the other account. It only stated that an internal review had reached that conclusion.

I believe that when a broker makes such a serious allegation, clients should be given an opportunity to respond before irreversible action is taken. Transparency and due process are important, especially when the decision affects a client’s funds and trading history.

I have formally requested:

  • The evidence supporting their conclusion.
  • The criteria used to determine the alleged connection.
  • An independent review of my case.
If the broker is unable to provide a fair explanation or reconsider the matter, I intend to escalate my complaint to the appropriate regulatory and dispute resolution bodies.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with this broker? If so, I would appreciate hearing how your case was handled and whether it was resolved.
