Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Problem XM Global Limited blocked my account and gave contradictory excuses

Broker: XM Global Limited

Opened a new account with XM Global and deposited $100. Traded the CPI news release using buy-side positions only, and grew the account to $480 in profit.

When I submitted a withdrawal request, XM refused to process it. Over multiple support interactions, I was given THREE different and completely contradictory reasons:

1. First, I was told my account was "linked" to another account that was blocked/violating their policy. When I asked which account, they refused to say.

2. Next, a different agent told me no trades had even taken place on my account — despite my trade history clearly showing otherwise (I showed them the screenshot).

3. When confronted with the trade history, they then claimed it was "hedging" — even though every single position was buy-side only, with zero opposing trades.

I sent a formal written complaint asking them to provide the specific linked account number/email and evidence of the violation. Their response: "This is our final decision, we cannot provide further details."

No evidence. No consistent explanation. Just a rotating set of excuses to avoid paying out a profitable withdrawal on a brand new account.

I've now filed a formal complaint with the Seychelles FSA (their regulator for the XM Global entity) and am posting this here as a warning to other traders. If you're profitable and try to withdraw from XM Global, be prepared for this kind of runaround.

Happy to share screenshots of the trade history and the contradictory support responses if anyone from XM or a moderator wants to review this.
