This is getting interesting(if you dont have an account w/ACM). Will there be a miniseries soon? Starring Tom hanks maybe? This company recently responded to this quagmire on this very Forum with words to the effect that "all is well". I know from 1st hand experience that when the Police show up at your door-"all is NOT well". Hope I am wrong.

There is a whole other debate raging on the FPA forum about another entity likely unbekownst to the ACM crowd. Connecting the dots here may be highly illuminating. Whatever happens, this story just keeps getting better and better.

Stay as far away as you can if your money means something to you. If the swiss banking commission would know that the owners have trade stations on their desks, in order to to as they love to say : "take em out"
meaning artificially causing margin liquidations by widening / manipulating the spreads, they would most likely not grant them the banking license they are applying for.
people like them, should be kicked out of Switzerland and go
"back where they belong" (they used to have an alert when a client was kicked out that said "go back to Canada where you belong") These Crooks (1american and 2greeks) who give Switzerland a bad rap and are enriching themselves fraudulently in the process should be brought to justice! hopefully, with the fact more and more screwed traders turn to swiss law firm Monfrini Crettol & Partners - Attorneys at law in Geneva, Switzerland, the day of judgment isn't far away. On Thursday, April 2nd, 2009, a large group of police from the Swiss Financial Guard, along with 4 judges, raided the offices of ACM (Advanced Currency Markets). One computer and a number of financial documents were seized. After an initial review of the evidence and interviewing many of the employees, no charges have been filed yet.

This action was triggered by a complaint filed by a Mexican institutional investor who complained that AC Markets had manipulated prices. I've got a translated version of an article in French. ACM has filed its own complaint against this person, accusing him of blackmail, defamation, and forgery.

I thought this story was something that FPA members should know about. I held off for one day so that ACM would have a chance to respond. I am very happy that they did.

I was speaking to a representative of Dukascopy tonight. There was a time when a lot of scams put a swiss flag on their website which resulted in the good Swiss name being sullied somewhat. This did cause some problems for good and reputable Swiss companies such as Dukascopy. However the Swiss authorities have been cracking down recently and making a lot of busts to clean up all financial companies in Switzerland.

The days of anyone being able to trust unregulated forex brokers is coming to an end.
