Hello
Overtrading is an issue, this is not the right state of mind...
The most important in Trading is the mental aspect of the "game" and the ability to remain composed and free of negative emotions, focus, disciplined and patient. All the qualities that the snipers have. As a former marine (french Troupes de Marine), i share with you this trading psychology video with some Royal Marine Commando adverts and movie clip.
Enjoy!

I have met a few traders who appeared to be addicted to trading and even though they were not professional traders they tended to make their daily decisions based on their trading and often cancelled or rescheduled planed events during the week due to trading.

I think they did that because they were not profitable and believed that they need to be glued to their screens in order to finally turn around and generate profits on a few trades. They seemed addicted to it which influenced their lives in a negative way. You always read about the positives in trading, but very few mention the negative impacts a lot of people suffer (besides losing your capital).

Any thoughts?
Over trading with ruin your mindset and win rate will suffer

I think yes I'm additicted, but more to development of trading system than to emotions I get from wins or losses. It's recommended to avoid them both because they ruin trading.

I am always open the chart every day, although not every day will open trades, maybe I am addicted but not too much in pressure, still, I realize if forex trading is no an easy task, so only trades with money that affords to lose, something that makes happy in trading is when withdrawing money and processed smoothly

I am not so addicted to trading as it is an extra source of income for me. I do it as a part-time job. But yes, since it is quite interesting, it tends to make some people addicted to it. Getting addicted to trading is fine but becoming greedy will not work. Keep your emotions away. Instead, adopt a practical approach for trading.

I do not understand how people waste their money if they had no skill, Why they invest again and again and treat forex as gambling they are really addicted who dream for a good day come with huge money for them where they will become a millionaire. Until you do not give time to the proper learning experience and practice you all efforts to trade in the market are failures and loss.

Why do some people go to a casino and gamble away all their money every payday? Why do some people blow their budget on lottery tickets.

Simply put, some people are addicted to gambling and some traders are really nothing more than gamblers.
