Despite aud's retreat fm y'day's NY high at 1.0455 to 1.0400 in Asia, subsequent recovery suggests consolidation inside broad range of 1.0386-1.0498 is seen n gain to 1.0438/40 cannot be ruled out, however, 1.0454/55 res shud cap upside.

On the downside, only below 1.0386 sup wud confirm fall fm 1.0498 has resumed, 1.0363.

STRATEGY : Stand aside

FORECAST : 1.0400 / 1.0440

RES : 1.0438/1.0455/1.0498

Hold long n abv 1.0260 wud yield gain to 1.0285. Below 1.0145 wud abort bullishness, 1.0110.

Despite last week's selloff fm 1.0386 to 1.0222 (Thur), Fri's strg bounce to 1.0323 (NY) suggests further choppy trading abv Apr's low at 1.0221 wud continue with mild upside bias, however, reckon res at 1.0386 shud hold n yield another fall later.

Buy on dips n only below 1.0240 signals decline fm 1.0586 has resumed, 1.0221/22, break, 1.0100/03.
