Practicing with demo account helps the trader to develop the trading strategy which helps them to survive in the forex trading business. Thus, its better to check our trading skills prior to risking our hard earned money to the highly risky forex market.

It is right that traders should trade with demo account in order to improve skill of trading without risking any dollars in your account. But traders can try to find out the best system in demo account, after trading plan has been found then it's better to implement it in real account. Spending time in demo account for 6 months wouldn't be good idea except if you're not finding good system yet.

You are right , optimum result must be receive for 6 month in demo account , for that need for seriousness, consistence, and also do commitment want to be better again . so the quality of trade can be improved and in the other side by times can finding the good system

Yes, if you don't mind crashing.

The reality is that the amount of time needed on demo varies wildly from person to person. Some people need 2 months just to learn all the main functions in the trading platform and will need more time to learn trading. Others have trading experience and may find their broker's platform simple to figure out.

My rule of thumb. If you've got a trading system that you can make work on demo, and that still would be profitable if every trade made 2 pips less (to account for greater slippage on live accounts), then it's time to think about opening the smallest possible account at a broker which allows small lot sizes (micro, nano, or even pico). This lets you test your system in the real world as well as testing your own personal trading psychology in the real world. It may take you 1 month to reach this level. It make take you 2 years. Each trader is different. 6 months is just a good average.

I think it is necessary for traders to trade at least 6 months with demo . Demo trading is good way to learn trading. People who join live trading after one month demo trading no know much about risk management and capital adjustment. Much practice trained you well.

Having a trading strategy which makes consistent gains is very much important for the people such that they can survive in the forex market and for this being confident with the demo helps a lot to carry forward the same confidence to the real trading environment.

Yes, I think so. But different person can be different view about this so there is no fixed rule about how long should trader spend time in demo account to become good trader. The consideration is only capability to make good trading plan and know the performance to trade with it for at least a month. Demo account is only simulation account before traders entered into real account directly.

I like your idea , and yes its perspective viewa for one to anothers , maybe its just make bored to run this business when as long six month just in demo account but in another hands the trader need good performance till specific periods that is six months
