Problem Fxopen scam - see my proofs

FXOpen was my very first live broker way back in 2010 and remained so until last year....I started practicing on a Demo account with EasyForex....thought of going live with them, but presetting "pending orders" and "TP" on their trading platform was difficult....having started off on a none MT4 platform, it took me a while to get use to that platform...I landed up with FXOpen as my first live broker solely because of the friendliness and guidance of Jaffar (who is now director of FXOpen Australia) who also became my first IB....I used to spend considerable amount of my free time over at FXOpen site and was an active member & client.....FXOpen has undergone a lot of transition since then and I don't agree to some of the changes which, in my opinion, lowered the standard of their site and the way they operate. So I and a number of their other long time members & also clients (I presume now mostly all "ex-member & client") left their site & forum, and also as client(s).

The informations that they giving us are blur....Pleacse clearly highlight to us,the traders that you are STP brokers at least(and put below the StP)we are also market makers)...jeezzz

people nowadays don't know even how to market their business clearly....it's basic,the fundamental about marketing is being transparent and honest,don't you know fxfrench?

I should stay out of this thread since I don't work for FXOpen NZ, however since you mentioned me I thought I should help you understand a little about FXOpen's ECN technology so you can concentrate on the real issues rather than going off on a tangent accusing them of misinformation about LPs being Market Makers.

LPs are all market makers, as are the traders on FXOpen's ECN. You can place orders on the market, as can the LPs. Essentially you are "making" or participating in the ECN market as a part of it, rather than watching and reacting to a price feed. You offer prices, others offer prices (other traders or LPs), and somewhere in the middle you or they get filled and a deal is made.

To better illustrate just how you can make your own market in an ECN market, I made a little video to show that what you do can have an effect on the market. You can move the market yourself, and even dictate your own spread! You become a Market Maker within an ECN!
