hello,
I find myself 'stuck' with an MT4 quandry. I spent a considerable amount of time developing a EA, and was in the middle of testing it. somehow(?) the MT-4 testing module developed a 'write failure', while I was testing overnight. The only way I could fix it was to reboot the computer and restart MT-4. MT-4 restarted, and the testing module resumed normal operations.....
I do see that the ex4 does exist, and appears to be the correct size. When I ran it in the Testor, it seems to be the prior version (which is why I was trying to edit it for changes) and executes properly. HOWEVER, the mq4 code was completely erased!! the file name still exists, but when I try to use the Editor, all I see is an empty page, and when I check, the file shows 0 k in size...!
I have 2 questions:
a) how is it possible to have ex4 file uncorrupted and the mq4 file erased?
b) is there any way (services, apps, software) that will decompile IBFX MT4 version 509 ex4 back into mq4 format?
regards,
spgandau
