understanding of the strategies

To really grasp the strategies they use, traders should dive deep into them. That means studying, practicing, and analyzing. They should absorb all the details, try them out in different market conditions, and carefully review their performance. The more they immerse themselves, the better they'll understand their strategies inside out.

How can traders ensure they have a thorough understanding of the strategies they are using?
They don`t. A market position never be stable, it's like a roller coaster, sometimes up sometimes down. The best strategy is to keep "patience" and lower our "greediness". If you have control over these two then you can overcome or achieve anything :)

backtestin is the best way to test out Ur strategies but note that you cant rely solely on a strategy cause the market is always changin

It also has to bring sustainable profits to its owner. That’s an obvious one I suppose.
