If someone is suggesting this to you out of the blue from a dating site then you have reasons to doubt that. I have a strong feeling that it is nothing but a scam. Either you can deny it or try to avoid any trading-related conversion and definitely don’t open up about any kind of trading you have done.

Well, I did came across this scammer Foopu. Their tactics is the same as you all mentions. I am from Malaysia, used local Malaysia bank account to remit to them. at 1st, everything goes smoothly , Young ladies ask your help to manager their account, they not free , needs outstation business. Send you their ID and password and website too. Once you login, their agent will contact you and teach you to manage. Few days later, You excited as every moments money profits. then ask you to open an account. your email account and password send to you. The apps you login can see your account and amount 00. They gave you an acoount number which was in Malaysia under a company name. Once you remits money to the account number given , In a few hours , all gone. Cannot login to their website. fp-forex.com . anymore. Left only the fake apps that you have. Calling or texting them, no response. So for Malaysian or whoever, please be smarter . i get scammed of US$5k.

Thank you so much and please share the results. I have a similar concern too. I have not commence any trading yet as I felt suspicious when my online date kept pushing me to join him on trading with Foopu.

Someone wants me to trade with this broker. Need confirmation if it’s safe for me to trade with them and if they are authorised and regulated.

The firm (broker) is called FOPU but the URL shows as foopu.

As the starter of the thread, I just want to say I’m still chatting with the girl despite my refusal to put money with the broker (foopu). I’ve chatting with her for over 5 months now and since refusing to trade with her, she initiates less yet still responses to my texts to non related topics.

I’m confused as to why she wants me around as a digital penpal when I’ve already been adamant i have have no interests to trade.

I still haven’t caught her out for being a fraudster with all the prove here in this thread. Should I just continue to play along since she no longer brings up trading any more?

It's a network, probably they see you as a chance. You might not be talking to one (girl/guy), you might be talking to multiple of them. It's just work, they record all your conversations and they have scripts to answer your unrelated non trading topics. This kind of scam is very popular in China, the government is tracking down all of them that's why they are looking for overseas to steal now. I suggest you not to waste your time and move on to a real relationship.
