Forex trading is long time career to sustain daily life?

Before you start trading full-time, make sure you have gained enough knowledge and experience in this market. Becoming a professional forex trader with a full-time job can be a bit challenging. And, you can’t quit your full-time job when you don’t know anything about this field. So, it's better to gain knowledge and experience first.

In my own experience trading is risky, forex as additional income, and still another source as main income, but I think they professional trader with large capital, they will not only invest in forex alone but also investing money for balance portfolio, maybe buy stocks, bonds, etc.

I always have this question in my mind and many of them having too. I always thinking professional full time Forex trader do really make money?, How much they make?, Is Forex trading is a really way to be rich?

I know some here some will say Yes or some say No.


peoples do Jobs, Offline business (Offices, Hotel, agency, etc), online business (Affiliate, Ecom, freelancer, advertising, etc) and others, to sustain there daily life and needs. These are the careers peoples choose and do full time successfully for longer time or lifetime.

But do peoples really make long time profit from trading for longtime/lifetime? can being a only full time Forex trader is enough to live a life and fulfill daily needs?

I know Rich peoples, Entrepreneur, Business man do trading in there regular life and earn a lot from them but for them trading is not a primary career, they do trading to secure there investments and to grow there profits. So is it good make trading as a primary career?

Anyone here, do trading for above 15+ years? and with only trading they living life?

Here, I am not talking about Forex brokers, Fund managers, IB/Affiliate Forex commission earner, Investment companies, Signal providers, EA/Indicators sellers, Forex/Meta-trader Freelancer, (Of course these peoples make tons of money) So exclude them. I am talking about Individual/Retail traders.

Can anyone answer this?

Make forex as long term business, I think this needs some support, like as skill or knowledge about how to trade and have real experience, then family, sometimes motivation from family also influenced on the way in developing trading skills, then support from a broker, will useless when skill good, trading good but had a problem with the broker where we trade with them.

I agree, you just need much more than capital in order to make it in a long term trading.

Yes, I agree, one advantage forex has flexible time, we can trade at a spare time after fulfilling all main job, except enforced by the condition because let says lay off from the job, and while making another effort like as become YouTuber or content creator, there are so many chances to make money online, but all business need to hard work and learning, no instant success.
