Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

Do copier EA's work?

Inequivalent

Hi I'm new to forex trading.

I am currently using one copier and so far its working good with about 10 trades in a row positive.

I now see another EA copier - sphantom results look very good for about 3 months live trading which can be verified, and backtrack of a year is very good also. But is 3 months trading record too short of a time to assess if the EA copier will be reliable?

Thanks!

There are 2 reasons a lot of EAs use trade copiers.

1. For some, backtests would reveal that it's doomed from the start. With a tradecopier, you can't backtest.
2. There are a lot of pirates out there selling hacked copies of EAs. With a tradecopier, the logic of the EA can be decompiled.

A drawback to trade copiers is that there could be some lag in getting the trade order to your platform.
