    Hi all,
Recently deposited $2700 on etoro. After a 3 year break.
Was driving my car and stopped for a break then suddenly noticed $2000 missing.
Somehow a lot of trades opened and then were closed immediately after to force a loss on spreads.
    I didn't open these trades, I didn't copy anyone, I didn't have any orders.
Only etoro could have done this to steal $2000 straight out of the account. Why would anyone open and then close a trade immediately multiple times over 5 minutes to lose money on spreads?
Also unusual that the trades were greater then the equity in my account which is impossible. Leading me to believe etoro has simply done it to steal money. No idea what to do, extremely angry at the theft. Anyone else experience bad things with etoro? I'm convinced they are a scam.
    Andrew

    Hi,
I deposited the money by visa debit on the 10th and the money was stolen through fake trades the day after.
I've deposited money before in the past without issue and without this theft issue.

Then contact CC customer care and ask them to do the chargeback.

I had a similar thing happening to me as well. I did the math and around 200-300$ where missing from my account with no explanation. I doublechecked every trade I opened and every result I made and still didn't add up. I also believe that they somehow are taking money from the client accounts. I could be wrong but If you also experienced that then it might be right. Thank you

It was a visa debit card, I think only credit cards can do that?

Yup they are stealing money, I've had one reply from their CS team asking for the transaction ID's.
Sent it on Tuesday, still no reply. They are straight thieves

If the supplier will not refund your money and you paid using a credit or debit card, your card provider may agree to reverse the transaction. This is called a chargeback.
