Fellow traders, do you ever feel this with gold or forex?

Ever catch yourself staring at XAU/USD or EUR/USD, just itching to enter something... even though there’s no real setup?

Like… you know it’s not part of your plan, but the market looks like it might do something soon.

Is it just FOMO? Boredom? Pressure to “always be in a trade”?

And does anyone else find that their best trades come when they wait for price to come to their level instead of chasing?

Curious how you all deal with this. Do you set alerts and walk away? Or stay glued to the chart just in case?

Been there way too often-just staring at EUR/USD, hoping for a setup that’s not really there. It’s usually boredom + FOMO for me. My best trades come when I wait for prices to hit my levels. Now I just set alerts and step away or I’ll start seeing trades that don’t exist

Yeah, definitely felt that. Sometimes just watching gold or forex move makes you want to jump in even when there’s no setup, and it’s usually just boredom or FOMO creeping in. My best trades have always come from waiting for price to hit my marked levels, not from chasing. I started setting alerts and stepping away — way easier to stay disciplined that way.
