Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.
Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"
Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"
Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"
Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.
More info coming soon.
Its been on the news recently that FXopen has some financial problems. Can anyone please through light on the situation. I wire transfered money through their Marfin Popular Bank, it was rejected.
FXopen, are you down or still in business?
A hearty congratulation to FXopen for the Falcon Award as a Global FX Broker in the sub-category Best Platform according to the FX Traders’ Choice Awards 2010. Bravo, and well done!
Bro, I have tried unsuccessfully to convince and to get FXopen Accounts that my regular monthly bills from DIGI Internet Broadband and CELCOM Mobile phone should be acceptable for verifications as the bills bear my full name and permanent Home address (exactly as stated on my government issued ID). I have two live accounts with two reputable brokers and they have no problem in accepting these monthly bills for verification.
I really would like to have FXopen as one of my brokers, even though I am doing quite well with the other two brokers, simply because I believe and trust FXopen.
Perhaps, you being an influential IB representative in FXopen, might be able to convince the Finance department to…well…modernize and upgrade their interpretation of “Utility Bills” which, in the present electronic age, are not limited to the Victorian water, electricity, gas, and fixed line telephone. Somehow, I think FXopen Finance cannot differential between Postpaid “Mobile Handphone” which has monthly billing just like any other utilities, and Prepaid “Mobile Handphone” which is pay as you use and does not have any billing.
Broadband Internet access is, of course, is just like any other sign-up internet home service complete with monthly bill, except that it’s mobile and can be taken when on the move and you wish to get hook-up to the internet in your own secured internet access.
Well, Bro, I do hope you can get FXopen Finance to upgrade their accepted form of verification documents! If not, well, at least you tried; yah!
As usual, all the best and Sala’am!
