Question I’ve seen some ads for companies claiming that they can assist to find and help recover crypto lost in a scam are these legit?
Would appreciate any advice.

Anyone who could just reach in and "recover" your crypto could just reach and and steal as much crypto as they wanted. If it was that easy, crypto would have collapsed years ago.

These people just hope you won't think it through. Then there will be some sort of fee to get your crypto released, then another fee and another fee and another fee. They'll happily collect fees worth far more than the crypto you are trying to recover if you are willing to keep throwing money at them.

The best they can do is to issue a tracing cryptocurrency service. I suggest better to contact the Global AntiScam before hiring a company.

Thanks for posting this, I was skeptical about this and finally found out the hard way it is a scam. I didn’t lose as much as some of the others ($570) doesn’t seem like a lot but I used this out of my 401k account and wanted to put more in after I made some profit. Glad I didn’t put anymore in. I have filed with ic3 like was suggested, thanks again for the post and information.
