Alert to trading community - well established and known Swissquote Ltd just got a fake clone called Swissquotes
scammers try to fool unsuspecting clients with adding just one 's' at the end. FCA issued a warning a few days ago: link (Swissquotes Ltd, Clone of FCA authorised firm real Swissquote license, fake address: 11 Park Street, London W1K 6SS, UK, +44203769576, support@swissquotes.de). this is the real and original Swissquote link
We took a quick look at this fake swissquotes with German domain extension, registered a few months ago. Whois domain data does not reveal much for swissquotes.de (link), however there is another one as well, that may or may not be connected to original scammers, but would be good to include it in this warning, domain www.swissquotes.org opened at similar period, by Mr Elvis Enotie of Lagos, Nigeria. There he is on LinkedIn link, link and a bit more link (Green Lightspeed,15 sunday akinbo street, command ipaja, Lagos, NG, +234.8033911776). Mr Enotie apparently likes banking, as besides fake swissquotes.org he holds a fake unicteditbk.com as well - pls see here link (note: open carefully listed websites, possible malware threats). As for his actual ''venture'' and operating scam website globalsafepart.com, it appears to be a clone of actual Belgium based company link. Hope those guys in Belgium know about it, we sent them warning just in case.
We decided to further explore this fake swissquotes.de from the inside. This is how the website looks like, a poor slow/rigged copy 'trade' platform:
This MIG Capital Ltd is nowhere to be found and is actually a fake name of former MIG Bank that Swissquote acquired years ago, while displayed addresses are actually Swissquote Zurich HQ, Deutsche Bank HQ in Frankfurt (the famous towers) and a primary address in the UK. That's where it gets more interesting. It can be just a random pick off course, which leads to dead end. But if not, then it would be the actual address of The Argyll Club, who offers, among other, virtual office presence: https://theargyllclub.com/virtual-office-membership as low as 75 quid (formerly known as LEO, a legitimate business link). On the off chance this is not a random googled address scammers elected, it may be worth the effort for the FCA to check if this alleged MIG Capital has some registration there.
But there is a far better way to get to the bottom of this. If one tries to deposit, this happens:
Strange, a well known Net-pay International (link) is a PSP for this FCA banned scam website known as Swissquotes.de, who is the Merchant. Netpay's merchant ID is 2342344. We wonder if they know who they do business with?
Second payment option is this Securemasterpay from India (link) operated by Enovate IT Outsourcing Pvt Ltd, also India - link (Eveline and Andrei Boulgakov). We also wonder if they know who their merchant is?
There is sufficient data here so that competent authorities take some action. We hope they do.
Stay clear away from this fake www.swissquotes.de website, or you will never see your money again.
