Hello Everyone

All three markets continue in the "Green" on the futures market with 7 hours remaining to the"Open Bell" with the actual value of the index (Fair value) as follows.

Dow (+38.00) FV (+38.59)
S&P500 (+4.75) FV (+3.74)
NASDAQ (+13.00) FV (+11.20)

Can the SPX hit its now much talked about "close" target today or will the trades give up trying ?

My personal belief is, it must pass it all-time intraday High (1858.71) reached on Monday, to beat the record (January) all-time high of 1848.38

With China's Demand to Bolster Gold Prices in 2014 we could see is on track for its first back-to-back monthly gain since the two-month advance last August (July 1324.68 Aug 1394.60).

Current: 1325.57
Good luck

Hello Everyone

At last S&P 500 breaks its "Closing Bell" record coming off a Low (1,841.13) before reaching a High (1,854.53), but where now as it approaches uncharted water, maybe 2,000 before years end ?

NASDAQ hits 52-Week High (4,322.46) coming off a Low (4,284.78) adding a new 14 year high to its portfolio. That same year on 10/March/2000, it finally peaked at an intraday high of 5,132.52, and closed at an all-time high of 5,048.62. The decline from this peak signaled the beginning of the dot-com bubble burst, it declined to half its value within a year, and finally hit the bottom on 10/Oct/2002, with an intraday touching a Low (1,108.49).

Like the other two indexes the Dow moved off an early trading Low (16,159.81) to post a High (16,276.28) as it peacefully moves along while records seem to be recorded on a daily bases by the others.

The Dow Jones Global Indexes: 16,272.71 +74.30 (+0.46%) on the day.

The S&P 500 Index: 1,854.31 +9.15 (+0.5%) on the day.

Nasdaq Composite Index: 4318.93 +26.87 (+0.63%) on the day.

Gold (1330.55) sits above the "Close" (1328.70) 01/09/2013 that singled a 4 month downtrend, next target looks like (1394.60) last uptrend "Close" before the fall.

Good luck

Yes, I also think both gold & silver is on the down trend.....but have to watch the 4 key US data and FOMCA Stein speech and hope there will be no major "surprises" ;)

Hello Everyone

With just over 4 hours to the "Opening Bells" early pre-market show all 3 players in the red:

Dow (-19.00) FV (-5.65)
S&P500 (-2.75) FV (-1.19)
NASDAQ (-6.00) FV (-3.30)

There will be several speakers from the US Federal Reserve today, Charles Evans, Narayana Kocherlakota, Charles Plosser & Jeremy Stein (15:15 UK), these all some on the back of yesterdays speech by Federal Reserve chairwoman Janet Yellen strengthening confidence that the central bank will react if the outlook for economic growth worsens.

Gold moves slightly above its 4 month "High" (1327.31) "Current" (1328.13)

Add to the mix, the usual "Friday" high impact economic reports (5 in total) today might be an up and down one, or in the US Stocks down then up one.

Good luck
