Except for a handful of absolutely unbreakable rules. If you decided to break your risk management rules in specific situations, sooner or later, you'll find that you will regret this decision.
In general, it's good not to break any of your rules. If you see the need for exceptions to some rules, codify those exceptions into your trading rules so that exceptions are done systematically, not on a whim.
