US account and hedging

Thanks to the NFA, hedging is no longer allowed. You could instead hedge using correlated pairs or open a second account at the broker.

ATC Brokers and FXDD have a backroom solution to hedgeing EAs on Metatrader4. I was running a Demo last week with a hedging EA on FXDD. So if you have .2 lots EURUSD long and have .1 lots short in the backroom you really only have .1 long. The big problem is if is is trying to trade in fast moving markets you may get a lot of slippage on your trades. And with FXDD you may always have a lot of slippage on your trades is you look at the reviews for them. The only problem with ATC is the min. trade is .1 lot, where FXDD has .01 lot. So, hard to pratice with real money and small trades.
