Can anyone tell me the success rate for new traders?
I would guess somewhere in the region of 1%.

Ok ... later in this same forum...
Failure rates between 80% -> 99%
No surprises there!

There is a lot of debate on this. I see different numbers bandied about. How to calculate the statistics is also an issue. What if someone has more than one account and some are in drawdown and others aren't? What if there's a huge market move that puts a successful trader into temporary drawdown?

My best guess would be about 85-90% losing (including those who quit very quickly). 5-10% varying between winning and losing, and 5% making at least some profit over time.

1 or 2% of that 5% are making the big bucks.

Look buddy , if newbie trader have taken enough time to do practical training, read enough articles by Pros , it wont be so bad. i think winning ratio could be 1:1 . No profit at the end of trade session and Loss = Win at the end of month.

You may be right 'buddy' ... but I doubt it.

Forex is like a mix between a badly rigged casino... betting on the actions of a deranged female driver... and betting on a coin toss with a dishonest person who expects you to believe their word for which way the coin has landed, and won't let you look for yourself!

I notice that you seem to be 'representing' a forex site so lets look see...

different-forex.com
mnnnn... FUGLY website... covered in grammatical and spelling errors...
Company name (but no address / phone number / reg number / regulator).
Which country is your business registered in and what is the company's registered number?
Is your firm authorized to offer investment advice?
Which bank do you work with - please provide a reference within that organization.
Are you registered to pay local taxes - if so what is your tax number?
What are the names and addresses of the officers of your company?
Are they the beneficial owners or are they shills?

You, 'buddy' are probably one of the dishonest people mentioned above.

PS ... I call heads!
PPS ... Nice logo!

I think you should not download any trading software just yet.

Oohhh.. I'm crushed ... he called me a noob - and you all saw it! lol.

Having read some of your posts, you should heed your own advice. It takes years of 'training', many expensive mistakes and many many destroyed accounts, to become a forex 'shark'... I'm sure that you are well on your way... but you could still give forex a miss and save yourself many fruitless hours and great wads of cash!

BTW:
Who is your broker?
Company name (address / phone number / reg number / regulator).
Which country is their business registered in and what is the company's registered number?
Is their firm authorized to offer investment advice and or fx services?

ow sorry.I thought you were a fresh forex trader.I must rephrase:
i think you should uninstall any trading software as soon as possible.
Buy Nassim Nicholas Talebs Black Swan And Antifragile books .

LoRio - thank you for your concern.

From your posts, I deduce that you stumbled into forex with no training, no experience, no capital and I suspect little aptitude. May I ask what you do for a living? There's a phrase from showbiz... "Don't give up your day job."
